Totally Free Stuff

Everything is expensive right now, so learning how to stretch your budget can help you make ends meet. But how are you going to stretch your budget, but keep using the same stuff you’re used to? Did you know that most people spend almost 50% of their income on food and products, while the rest goes to rent and gas? With  your money going to stuff you can save on, or even get for free, you need to start saving with totally free stuff! Here I’ll show you how to get free stuff, where to get free stuff, and what to look out for when signing up for it.

Get Free Food

Groceries are hands down one of the most expensive things we have to buy on a weekly basis. You might be able to get away with not buying makeup, but you can’t get away with not eating for very long. To get free food, you will want to start collecting coupons. You can find these first in your local paper and those inserts that are usually in the basket when you walk into the store.

Another option is to use Facebook to score free sweet stuff. Different stores and food companies will have fan pages where you can get coupons and deals on different products (buy one get one free, half off, etc), but you can also go to the manufacturer website and find the same deals.

Get Free Stuff

There’s a lot of totally free stuff like free iPads, free baby stuff, free samples, free makeup and beauty samples, plus free baby stuff for expecting mothers. The best place to get this free stuff is to look for forums online; this is known as crowd sourcing. Crowd sourcing is when people come together and share their knowledge, in this case their knowledge about what different deals are available.

You can get this free stuff generally by either doing surveys (opinion panels will give you points towards a certain item like an iPad, game system, or maybe even a magazine subscription) signing up with websites who are doing competitions or giveaways, or just by finding coupons that help you get discounts on different products.

Be Careful Who You Sign Up With

One of the most important things you have to do when giving away your information online (and you will have to give your information, including phone number, home and email address, and maybe other personal information like how many people live in your household for example). You can check up on the legitimacy of a website by Googling it and looking for reviews. If you can, always try to learn from someone else’s mistakes so you don’t have to learn the lessons on your own.

Totally free stuff is out there in abundance, you just need to know what to look for and where to get it. Look for your favorite company’s Facebook fan page today and start saving.
