With the economy the way it is, it’s important to start finding ways to get what you need for free. Have you seen the show “Extreme Couponing”? Have you been wondering how people are getting free stuff by mail, even though they don’t really need it after amassing a stockpile of all that sweet free stuff? In this article, I’ll show you how you too can get your own free stuff, no matter what you’re looking for.
Here’s a list of some of the things you can get for free:
- Free Ipads
- Free Baby Stuff
- Free Beauty Samples
- Student Free Stuff
- Free video games and movies
And so much more! All you need to know is how to get it, and where to look for it. Companies are out there just giving stuff away.
Why Would Companies Give Away Free Stuff by Mail?
An excellent question and one I asked myself when I started looking for ways to get things for free too! First, it’s a lot easier to have customers request things in the mail, like rebates and coupons, than it would be to provide them in newspapers or at stores where you’re not sure people will get them and you still have to pay to distribute them. Second, you’re more likely to shop with someone who gives you some free cool stuff every once in a while aren’t you?
How Do You Get Free Stuff by Mail?
The first best thing you can do is make a list of companies you like, and of products you use. If you’re a mom, think of which diapers, wipes and baby foods you like to use and write those down. Students should think of whoever makes their notebooks, pens, and even laptop accessories and write them down. Whatever you use, you want to get free samples or coupons for; making the list will help you plan for your next step, requesting.
Write a Convincing Letter
You won’t need to snailmail the letter, but you’ll need to email it. You can create one of two letters: complaints or appreciation letters. Complaint letters can be used to get free products (but make sure it’s a real complaint, like not being able to find a product locally or something being defective). Many times, a complaint letter will just get you a coupon package in the mail. Appreciation letters can be you telling a company that you really like the product, and asking if they have any special deals or offers. Either way, you’ll be walking away with something.
Make sure you give them your correct address and phone number, in case they want to contact you or send you things in the mail. After they have your information, they may send you mail about different promotions or special offers they’re running, but companies usually won’t spam you.
Getting free stuff by mail is super easy. Formulate your list of products, write your letters and don’t forget to include your contact information. Happy hunting!
